The Challenge
Campers Down Under originated from a shared passion and enthusiasm of Peter and Karin Kramer. A passion for traveling by motorhome, the freedom that you will experience, the overwhelming nature, the vastness and the inspiring people of Australia and New Zealand.
Later on, Campers Canada followed and Peter and Karin were also working on the preparations for Campers America. Unfortunately, they were also hit hard by the corona outbreak in February of this year. The future became uncertain and cancellations poured in. With that, the online promotion stopped. The easing in May of this year allowed for a slow restart of advertising, as the demand for motorhomes remained in Canada. Meanwhile, the plans for Campers America gained momentum due to corona and the new website was completed in July 2020. Unfortunately, it’s still uncertain when we can travel to the US.
The solution
Peter and Karin keep looking for new possibilities. Travel outside of Europe is still uncertain, but we expect we can travel within Europe next year. In the summer of 2020, a new website was launched and Campers Europe saw the light of day. The promotion in the Netherlands for Campers Europe started in October 2020 and after a few days of careful advertising, the first order came in, namely camper rental for Iceland. This shows the resilience of entrepreneurs such as Peter and Karin in difficult times. And that’s not all. Campers Europe currently rents campers in twenty European countries and they are working hard to expand to various other European countries to promote motorhome rental.
